Raymond has a thriving acting career, including many years on Broadway and on tour in Chicago the Musical as Amos Hart (Helen Hayes Best Actor Nomination).

He recently appeared as Da in the first national tour of the musical Once, winner of the Tony for Best Musical. He’s starred in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead (Rosencrantz) at the Studio Theatre in Washington DC, Vigil (Kemp) at the Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY, Rameau’s Nephew (title role) at the Portland Stage Co, ME, What the Butler Saw (Dr. Prentice) at the Franklin Stage Co, NY, and many others. He’s also worked at the York Theatre, The Drama Department, The Lincoln Center Institute, and the American Repertory Theatre in Boston.

He has appeared in several films, including Man on the Moon, Changing Lanes, Ali, and I’m with Lucy. His television appearances include 30Rock, Flight of the Conchords, Saturday Night Live, Ed, Third Watch, The Job, and Law & Order.

Raymond's television ads have won Clio awards and other honors, inlcuding TV Guide's Top Ten Commercials. His series of Adidas/Yankees spots quickly became fan favorites, leading to stadium appearances and his own float in the 1998 Yankees ticker-tape parade.

He obtained a degree in acting from the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and continued his studies in New York under Phillipe Gaullier and Ron Van Lieu, among others.
